Halloween cards using Gina's Designs Freebie Friday printables

Hi everyone, it's Nancy here with some fun Halloween cards!  I really loved the Halloween themed free printables from Gina's Designs for the month of September, all themed for Halloween.  Gina offers up some amazing free printables that are available on the blog every freebie Friday.  Meanwhile, I had been clearing up my desk of the scraps I had left from the two Halloween themed projects I'd created during the month, and I got the idea to create a few cards using my scraps and Gina's printables.  I'm really not a card maker, but the printables made it so easy and fun.  I hope you like them.

Getting Organized

Hi everyone, its Angela here with a project that has been on going for quite a while. I have finally finished the sets of drawers that I have procrastinated about for some time now.

I had to make the decision as to what colour I wanted them all before I started decorating any of them. I went with the paper from Fancy Pants Key Lime collection in the end as I really like the vibrant colours in it and they match in with the paint in my Porch area where I now do most of my crafting.

Here is the 15 drawer set:
15 drawer chest from Ginas Designs
 and the Desk Organiser 1
Desk organiser 1 from ginas designs

and the last one (for the moment anyway) the 5 drawer set:
5 drawer chest from Ginas Designs
the labels on this one are from the Stackable Labels Shape Set
coloured with neo colour 2 crayons and gilding wax, with the top layer being covered with the Fancy Pants papers.

Boo Mini Album

Hi Everyone! It's Lisa here today and I am sharing a "Boo" mini album I created with Gina's Boo Banner Set.
Gina's banner sets can be used as a banner that you embellish as you choose and hang. OR you can be like me and use it for another purpose.
I love the corrugated cardboard not only for the banner design but as a mini. I alternated that and some regular cardboard cut in a triangle shape to fill in some pages.

I used the Spiderweb Shape Set on the cover. I painted mine in black acrylic then used Rock Candy Crackle over it. I spread it really thick and the Rock Candy gives it a shimmer look as well as crackle for a truly "spark- tacular" web!

I love adding little tags and pull outs to my minis. I also leave lots of space for photos. I have found I like to use different Spellbinders dies to mark my spots for photos.

On the closure for my album I use a regular clasp ring. then I tore up cheese cloth and misted it in gray- alternating between cheesecloth and ribbon.

With my banner set I also received the letters "Boo" in chipboard. I opted to spread them out and place a letter on page here and there within the album.

Here is a close up so you can see the details. I stamped and inked on the letter "O" and filled it in with a piece of clock pattern paper.

I REALLY love the bottles! I coated them with gesso and stamped with a BoBunny Stamp then covered in crackle. One dried I inked them so you would see the crackle and then added the sticker labels.

Gina sent me that cute accordion style flower. I just had to pleat it and add it to my page! The scary cat was painted and crackled too!

Thanks so much for stopping in! Check out Gina's Designs Shop for lot's of inspiration!

Seymour Bones

Kathi here again to share an off the page project. In this project I used the standing dome & the haunted house mini album.

I created a grave yard using the standing dome, placed a large wooded tree behind the standing dome. I created a tomb stone out of the standing dome. I painted the dome black then layered the dome with paper from graphic 45 paper line "Steampunk Spells" I created another tomb sitting to the right & just be hind the standing dome.

The dome has beware Seymour Bone as the head stone. in front of the fence of the dome a wooded casket was placed after being painted. With Seymour Bones trying to escape from the grave.

Inside the coffin there are spiders, pumpkins, bones & moss.Barbed Wire chipboard is draped over the fence. Barbed wire is also listed in Gina's store.

I then created the mini album out of the haunted house mini available in Gina's store

Bird Cage with Marjolaine

Hello friends, Marjolaine here.
Today I'm scheduled for an off the page project and I thought this birdcage would be perfect. It was super easy to assemble and I'm thinking I would like to make many more for Christmas table center pieces.

I kept if fairly simple. The cage is painted with two layers of gesso and I used a script stamp on top to add texture. For my roses I used a six petal flower punch and followed this tutorial

My supplies are as follows:

BirdCage  (coming soon)
Fabscraps paper
Tim Holtz stamp

I love antique bird cages and will need to find a special place in my home for it. How about you, where would you display it?
